The Bender Gestalt is a test to assess visual-motor maturity. Students first copy 12 images of various complexity. This "copy phase" demonstrates visual-motor intelligence and maturity. The recall phase exhibits the students' visual recall intelligence. Students have to remember all of the images previously drawn without seeing them. The recall image is scored based on the level of recall ability. The Bender Gestalt test is a determinant of neurological functioning. It assesses the level of whole-brain activation; the students' ability to see the "big picture" and recall details of it.
Research On 3rd Eye Awakening (fMRI brain scan)
In 2019, at the Apollo hospital in Gujarat, a study called "Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging" was conducted to understand the working of the 3rd eye. The study was conducted on a group of Balasanths and regular children. The results proved no brain activity or thoughts when a balasanth reads through the 3rd eye. It also shows that the normal pathway used to see was not active.
